Non-Compartive clinical study on sulperazon(Sulbactam/cefoperzon)

Abstract
|
|
|
Systemic administration_of Sulperazone was performed against infection in the Orthopaedic field. he result were as follows: .
1.. 17 (85%) of total 20 cases have been shown satifactory result after administration of Sulperazon for 1 week,.
2. Among 20 cases, 7 cases were chronic osteomyelitis, 3 uses were acute osteomyelitis, 4 cases w-re
secondary wound infection and 6 cases were open contakn\inated fracture.
3. Bateriologically, 13 strains of S. aureus, 1 strains of S. marescens and 4 strains of Ps. aerugionsa.. nd
2 strains of E. coli.
4. The strains were eradicated by administration of Sulperazon for 1 week except 5 cases: 3 strain- of S. aureus. 2 strains of Ps. aerugionsa
5. The side effect were noted on 3 cases: 1 case was drug fever that was noted after 4 days later, 2 cases -noted slight elevation of serum trasaminase (SOFT and SGPT). This was reversible.
